The bell noise is randomised, it can play some games or it can't. If it does, you have to find the bell and destroy it (which can be done already, and it stops you from dying too) and hey presto, you have a way of stopping your death.

Like I said, this shouldn't always happen. It would just be spooky when it does. Hearing that bell noise was one of the highlights when I first played the game as you knew that jumpscares were about to kick off and it was awesome. I think that element should still be in the game.

A 1/10 chance of it playing in your map would be awesome.

How about it can only play in the light containment zone if you stay in there to long?
I still think Regalis made the cowbell sound like a church bell in 0.1 - 0.2 for atmosphere. :P

Well, if he'd made it sound like a normal Cowbell, this is what you woulda heard upon ringing it:

That wouldn't have been a good sound effect, methinks...

I don't really mind having to activate it myself.

I don't even really use it, unless I wanna find bugs or something.
But maybe knocking it down would be fun ^.^

Destroying it is an ingenious idea! It could work, it should work, hopefully. However, I don't think Regalis will add it because then you have a feeling of control.

You can already destroy SCP-513 in-game.

bell4.ogg for reference.

Yeah, 914 apparently uses a saw due to the sound.

it was certainly a circular saw though considering it cut through metal with such a loud noise.

There are two kinds of Cowbell.

The actual Bell used for Livestock which SCP-513 is most likely based off.

And the Instrument that was used heavily throughout the 80s and to this day in a standard percussion kit.

That Video that you linked plays the sound for the percussion kit.

This is the Bell Sound.
