66 might be part of the version number, maybe 0.8.66 or 0.9.66?

Either that or it's in hexadecimal code and I'm just thinking too hard XD

A lot of us had had the "Guard and the Elevator" bug. My main question is what is the cause of it? :?

Memory Access Violation caused it, specifically, the game crashed.
