Anything to fix the lag?

I've noticed with version 1.0, the game is even laggier than normal. I could run the game at 20-30 fps on 1080p full screen before. Now I run it at 10-20fps in 1680x1050 resolution full screen. Even when it's windowed in 720p, it only runs at 30fps when before it ran at 60fps. I didn't consider this a bug, more just a concern. Is this fixable in any way or will I just have to deal with it?

I'm getting average frames (30-40) without Fraps on. With Fraps recording I get a solid 20.. Not sure what everyones talking about.

Well ask just about everyone. I'm not the only one who is lagging more than usual.
And what resolution are you playing on and is it in full screen or windowed?

I'm also getting 30 -40 fps in 1.0, but before it was much smoother with about 60 fps

Ok first off I need to get this pet peeve off my chest, it's not physically possible for SCP Containment Breach to lag...

Lag is caused by having a high ping which is the time it takes for data from a client to get to a server, when there is a high amount of time for data to travel between a server and a client, that is lag.

SCP containment breach does not connect to any sort of server, it is a totally single player game. What you are experiencing is a low framerate, not lag. That being said I've noticed a significant drop in framerate since version 1.0

Just loaded version 0.7.3 and I got 40 fps, now i get about 20.

Then I guess you two have fantastic PCs, but there is definitely less 'framerate' with this version compared to last.

I think that the drop in framerate might be caused by the AI of new NPC's. Other than that, I'm not sure. Hopefully Regalis has something up his sleeve.

I hope i didn't sound too douchey or anything... just a pet peeve of mine when people fall a bad framerate lag.

Damn. I get a pretty solid 40 FPS and have a fairly low end PC. Could you guys post some specs? It'd help determining whether the fps issues are caused by rendering or game logic (or both).

I'm fairly sure it isn't the AI. SCP-939's aren't updated unless you're in their room and SCP-066 uses an extremely simple AI when you're not close to it (just randomly teleporting from waypoint to another every now and then).
