Speculation on the fate of Agent Izumi Junko

What do you think happened to her? We all know that you can find three notes left by her in 860-1, but her fate is left unknown.
Let's review some facts.
1. She left three notes of her exploration.
2. The moment she entered, communication with control was severed and her headset played relaxing music.
3. Unlike many who go inside 860-1, She finds the forest peaceful, similar to D-5674
4. She knows about D-9341 and addresses him in her third note.
5. She says she hasn't slept in hours/years. She wrote she was going to take a nap.
6. She promised to wake up when D-9341 entered SCP-860-1.
7. Her last sentence seen was "I'm kinda hungry."
8. She encountered a Cobblestone path, only previously seen in Exploration Log IV.
9. She has had at least one encounter with a docile 860-2, as she writes "Warm lights shine in between the trees." and "Golden eyes watch me from every direction."
10. She also heard howls she believed were calling her.
11. 860-2 was apparently close to her at the time she wrote Log #3, as she claims to hear twigs snapping and leaves rustling nearby, and breaths down her neck.
Thoughts, guys?

Either, Izumi Junko is dead, or she may have somehow turned into the 860-2 we know today and may had killed the already existing 860-2 instance.

Although far-fetched, the idea of her turning into 860-2 would almost make sense. However, this is not true as she writes "Golden eyes watching from every direction", Just like the 860-2 we know. One of the ambient sounds in 860 sounds vaguely like a scream. However, perhaps she was just "taken" like in exploration log II with D-5674, and will show up seven months later, much older and all that? She's either dead or Taken by the forest most likely. But I don't believe she was killed violently. I have a feeling like the monster either killed her in her sleep, or she died from starvation/thirst. After all, we don't know how long she was in 860-1 exactly. Also, the 860-2 on the actual article on the SCP wiki says that two pale yellow dots were seen, 860-2's eyes. I don't think the forest guardian's changed at all from its original body.

It's very tempting to say that she died on the forest, but I think it's more likely that she managed to get out, albeit highly traumatized by the experience; although whether this is due to the experience itself or partly due to SCP-860-2's potential influence on a person's mind, I don't know (yes, no such thing is written on any record involving it, but it seems possible that this would happen). I wouldn't be surprised if she'd cause suicide at that point, but it's unlikely she'd do such a thing, even with the trauma she potentially has.

In my headcanon, Junko was pretty much a conduit of 860 the whole time. The person themselves probably later died but their conscious was melded into the forest.
I love the notes though, were they written by Enma? I'm simply asking because they're great, really interesting and the last part of the last note really got to me when I first read it.

Personally I get the feeling she may be alive and well. All her notes and actions remind me of Exploration log II. She enters the forest sees things (probably 860-2) both Izumi and D-5674 seem to feel like they are being called, then they lose contact with the researchers( however Izumi lost contact with them well before she entered the forest). I imagine Izumi was later approached by a benevolent 860-2. Where she would go through an experience similar to what happened to D-5674. With the aid of 860-2 she would go on to live a long comfortable life in the forest maybe move into D-5674's house or build a new one. Then when she nears to end of her life she will finaly leave the forest. The fact D-5674 and Izumi are both female (and presumably asian) may have somthing to do with 860-2 actions... Anyway thats just my theory and interpretation of the events.

Actually she lost contact the exact moment the door slammed shut behind her. but yeah, the similarities to log II are very evident. I would say that's what happened to her.

It is a possibility that she may be undergoing the same effects produced in the second Exploration log on SCP-860's wiki article, whereas the effects are similar through the luring technique, and that she may have already undergone accelerated age progression upon the time she exits 860-1. However, since the key is not found to be lodged into the door and can already be opened, there are still several doors left open (cheap pun intended) for multiple theories as to what had happened to her.
