Got it work- but at a low resolution so basically unplayable. Thinking that it may be a problem with full screen, but idk.

edit: identified the problem, and it's fullscreen. i'll see if fake fullscreen has the same problem, as I can play, just not in fullscreen

The game is also up in GitHub now, which is why the latest version doesn’t come bundled with the source code.
