Frequency of 096 Spawns

Is it just me, or does 096 appear way too much. To me the amount of times he spawns is not scary but more frustrating, nearly every 3/4 way room (ones with gas) in the heavy containment zone has him spawning (I am over exaggerating but he spawns way too frequently). I did try 3-4 different seeds but he still spawns like crazy. It maybe just bad luck with RNGesus, but if this is happening to everyone else maybe have 096 spawn as frequently as 049 but a little higher chance to spawn.

No, you're right. SCP-096 spawns WAY too much. Combined with the fact that he makes NO idle noises (crying, footsteps ect..) and that there can be multiple 096's in one map (due to the random generation), it just makes a bullshit and frustrating playthrough. The heavy containment zone is now just looking down and HOPING you don't run into him.

Yeah, if Reggy and friends add at least footsteps or cries (and ones that you can easily trace back to it's source) 096 wouldn't be 46% as frustrating.

I once ran into 096 three rooms in a row, no breaks. When I heard people talking about more 096 events, I did not think it would just be having him spawn in every five seconds.

I think it is just bad luck. Because 096 have own spawn system. So he can't spawn near next 096 spawn.

Vane Brain, the amount of 096 spawns have increased as well for me; clearly, this is not bad luck.

I kind of disagree with the fact that he spawns way too much because when I play there are not as many rooms where he spawns and you can see him with the s-nav but him teleporting to the room you are about to enter is a bit stupid. I think this should only happen once or twice and then he should roam from room to room or there should be an obvious door or wall banging sound when he teleports like with SCP-173 or as you guys said the ambience sounds he makes when sitting down should /could be added.

One thing I would like removed is 096 being able to spawn in the first room after a Light Containment-Heavy Containment Checkpoint, many times it has happened to me and even happened to one youtuber on his play of 1.3 (The_Batesee). As a matter of fact I saw the fucker spawn on my SNAV before I even got through the checkpoint. Once again a idle sound would remove most of the frustration.
