In the intro sequence, he kills the 2 other CLASS D and i'm staring at him, and my blink meter is not depleted, and he "forces me to blink" and cracks my neck. Is there a time limit or something on how long i look

How close were you when you were staring at him? Not sure if it's a bug or an event where the lights flicker off after he kills the Class-Ds, where in which case if you are close enough he can kill you inside before the game starts (but I'm sure that he can kill you even at that event especially if you turn away, so stare at him from afar in that case).

Try going out of the room as fast as you can.
