Oh, ok. Mark has been doing SCP containment breach videos again, so this might begin another wave of SCP hype.

He has, in-fact, picked the series back up again. He did a live stream on the 14th: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vE8pQRP ... ex=49&t=1s

And he did the 49th episode yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vE8pQRP ... ex=49&t=1s

He says he only plays when a massive update rolls through. Of course, it's been about 3 years since he did his last few videos.

:? Wow, it's really been three years? That means SCP:CB has been in development for about five years now. Man this game has been through a lot.

6 more days until Level 1 & Level 2 Challenge Runs are posted.

As we are nearing closer to May, few hints detailing the Challenge Runs would be posted. With what I have had and Precipitator's advice, I extensively changed the composition of the Challenge Runs. All of the Challenge Runs will follow the resulting four point format:

1. Details
Outline of the Run you will be expected to complete

2. Objectives
Goals that you must complete in order for the Challenge Run to be complete

3. Restraints
Restrictions placed on you that must be followed in order for the Challenge Run to be complete

4. Conditions
Settings and factors that you must follow

What you can expect from the Challenge Runs:

One Keter Run
One Custom Map

You can expect a teaser video from me soon. If you have any questions about the Challenge Runs or do not like the format, please do tell. Also, could we get 15 players? Remember that you could still join while the Challenge Runs are underway.

Titles of the Challenge Runs:
Spoiler
Level 1 - Beginner's Luck
Level 2 - Master of (Nearly) All Card-Holders
Level 3 - Double Trouble
Level 4 - Sippin' to the Explosion
Level 5 - Labyrinth of Horrors
Omni Level - Champion of Escapists

This reminds me of the SCP riddles and M.T.F. mod guessing that I did a long time ago, so I'll try to guess what some of the aspects of the challenge are :P .
Beginner's Luck - You are only aloud to use a few select items and have to play like a noob (Such as not closing doors, not doing certain events etc..
Master of (Nearly) All Card-Holders - Get LV 1-5 cards (Excluding the Omni-, Master- and Playing Card [Or some similar combination]).
Double Trouble - Do not contain SCP-173 neither SCP-106 [Or other combination] and/or you are not aloud to use items such as SCP-1499 to escape them.
Sippin' to the Explosion - Getting Gate B with a sprinting or speedrun aspect.
Labyrinth of Horrors - Find every room/complete the custom map.
Omni Level - Champion of Escapists - Keter with achievements/lots of objectives.

Those are my thoughts so far. Let me know (or not know) whether I got anything right  .

You nailed the objectives portion of Level 2 Run. You are somewhat right for the Level 4 Run. You also knew it from the title that the Level 5 Run would be the custom map.
Also, if you were wondering, the Level 4 Run would be the Keter Run.

Yes, indeed. I thought at first when he didn't make any updates on 2016 was that he was really gone. Then that livestream and ep above (where I got spoiled that you can see SCP-966 on the night vision goggles, and that SCP-096 roams around the HCZ now :gasp:) proved me wrong. It was fun to see Markiplier play this game and get scared over it again, especially with those moments of initial failure with 914 (he was able to get the Omni keycard with the Level 1 card on Fine, which I tried many times too but failed) and discovering that SCP-049 now enters the electrical zone.

I would like to join...

Thou are mods allowed, or is it "breaking" the rules

IF... mods are allowed, what "type" of mods

cosmetic mods or game changing mods?

Cosmetic being sounds/textures (Comix, Messup, etc.)

game changing being something like new rooms, more SCP's etc (SCP's Mod, NTF)

All mods except the NTF mod are allowed; so long as the mod that you are playing on does not severely change the gameplay, it is allowed. Unless if I specify within the Challenge, mods are acceptable.
