I walked into the hallway of SCP-970 and then went to the other door but then I noticed, I was in the same hallway. I then walked through that hallway and back from where I opened the door to the hallway with the elevator. I turned around and the hallway of SCP-970 was there, I walked through it again and made it to where I was intended to go. Is this an event? Because it creeped me out.

That's how SCP-970 works. Keep walking and you'll see some more stuff, and items will disappear and swap from your inventory.

I didn't go into SCP-970, I went through the hallway.

You might have confused it with the room2scps room, which has keypads instead of buttons and doesn't contain rooms that teleport you.
