But someday try to get a screenie
I would, but the screencap would be of no significance, there's no real action to it, just there's a minor environment change, not some creepy face hidden inside.

It's just such a subtle scare, that creeps the hell out of me.
Where is it? I never saw it
Better can you post a pic?
I don't have a screencap, but I suggest you personally wander about the office above the staircase with 'Dr. Ming's note. You'll eventually notice it, hopefully. If not, I don't blame you. I see it as so subtle, it might be overlooked, which freaks the hell out of me.
Is this when the door closes by itself?

Yep, it usually does so when you're not looking.

And I hate to be stereotypical, but it seems so much like an "Amnesia" scare, like the hanging corpses disappearing.

Well, it's super subtle and it scares the crap out of me because instead of a bunch of dead guys disappearing it's a door in a kind of high tech ish looking facility that still looks like nobody repaints the walls and all the metal guard rails giving everypony tetanus closing on it's own.

On a side note, I find it more creepy due to the fact it closes without making a sound, or any indication.

I always shut doors behind me, so it's no problem for me.
