Perfect excuse for not being able to use a gun, if we proceed down that route.
Go Judge Dredd.
If you pick up the gun, a beeping will be heard, after several seconds the player will suffer an electric shock that will temporarily incapacitate the player, as well as drop the gun.

Actually, it'd make logical sense. I even posted in another thread about having anti-looting measures. I was thinking of having the gun be on safety unless in the special gloves of an MTF.

I kinda like and hate the idea.
Hate because:
-Seen it quite a few times
-How the hell is that possible in the present?
Like because:
-Its like the game is saying "Oh, you want to pick up this OP item? WELL, FUCK YOU!

This is the Foundation don't forget, if they can build a base on the moon I think they can make a gun DNA encoded.

Yeah, that would make sense.
So, yeah, that would be cool. So you pick it up, then you suddenly freeze stiff and then you see electric waves and then you fall. Not sure if its too hard to code. Just make the camera aim up rapidly, freeze the player, and some texture or sprites as the lightings in your vision. Then you fall dead, which is already coded.

Absolutely no guns (apart from MTF's carrying them) should be in Containment Breach, please keep that in mind, empty or not.

I like the dna encoded idea, though I fell it also should be hinted somewhere before reaching the first gun.
Maybe a ducument or a conversation?
