I know the game is meant to be dark but I noticed that at the end of the game the brightness is returned..is there a way to apply the brightness to the rest of the game for the ones wanting to see the SCP's clearly? Thanks.

I know it isn't the same thing, but there's a command to make entities (npcs, items, decls) brighter.
It's not like I made it or anything.............................................

change the camerafog
the camera fog is what makes you see darkness in long distances.
I usually have it to 20. That's far enough.
(of course, this is technically cheating, but you can view further distances and the facility won't look so dark)

If a SAFE difficulty mode was implemented it should have an increased fog distance (Lights on mode)

That'll probably be your only other way

except that it will cause some framerate issues

I agree with the issue with brightness. It should be an option to adjust it at a menu screen. For people with good eyesight, well keeping the settings at default may work fine but not everyone has the same sight and it should be adjustable for that reason. I would suggest that there be a recommended setting for those wanting the experience that Regalis invisioned. Keeping the setting at default despite how well a person can see is not inclusive for all gamers in my opinion.
