Trailer/Anything I can do suggestions?

So for those who have seen the official SCP Containment Breach Trailer, I would love to know what you guys think and suggest? Any suggestions and or ideas for future trailers is welcome! Post them all on this thread since I think it would be nice for me to go back to and look through so I can read suggestions and all that. Was the trailer involved enough in the SCP universe? I would really like some detailed feedback so I can improve on the next one. :) Also if anyone wants me to help on anything of any sort such as graphic design, models, film (haha), music, or sound effects let me know by sending me a PM :)

You already know what I think :P, but I guess I'll go into more detail.

Now, before I start I want you to know that in NO WAY do I hate what you did, infact, I really do enjoy the trailer, but I feel like it could use a bit more polish,

The Length: I felt like everything up to about 40 seconds was just right, but what bothers me is that it kind of just ends abruptly, I do like the zoom out of the players room, and the the light that struggles to turn, though I think it should struggle to turn on a few more times. I think another minute (or maybe another 40 secs.) could help give viewers more of a feel of what the game is about, I also think that the flashes of SCP's should be a bit farther in.

Music: Love it, fits perfectly, gives the viewers a nice calm feeling, but I think the music should not be interrupted for the flashes, instead keep the sounds that the flashes play, but maybe instead of cutting the music the music should be distorted, but still audible.

Something I though of: Maybe at some point in it show a few rooms lit up, filled with workers and the like, but then make it flash to a ruined, or corpse filled, or SCP occupied version.

Sorry if that seems too...harsh, I'm an artist, I tend to critique things a bit too much >.>

But all in all I liked it, and would enjoy seeing more of your work!

The only problem I have with it is the MTF soldier rotating in place(not really an issue, I just notice it since I've been debugging this game too much recently), but I think that the trailer was awesome.
Good luck and let me know if you need any more 'tampering' done.

Thank you for telling me all this! I am really glad you did since it gives me a chance to work on what some people suggest. :)

Ya, It was a random event and I was just in the right time at the right place haha. So I do not know if I could fix that haha, maybe code some of it but I will try :)

I feel like you should've somehow got SCP-106 and SCP-079 since they are pretty critical ones. I think the music cut-offs were great; as a musician it is the execution was excellent, ambience/song crossfade was spot on and balancing overall is pretty good. I would say use a different song for new trailers, but it is an excellent song I think the trailer might still be a W.I.P.

My biggest suggestion, is that you seem to have created a suspense motif focused around SCP-096 but haven't utilized it- which you should. The ending occurs very solemnly, kinda suddenly, and most definitely anti-climatically. It sorta felt like a let-down in the end (Don't get me wrong, I love the trailer). You should most definitely end with a scare/jumpscare, which could definitely be the SCP-096 chase (Which is what I was hoping for in the end.) Suspense, scare, then SCP Containment Breach logo, voila, perfection in my eyes.

Well I think you could have shown the door being ripped open by 096 for like, half a second, included a shot of the guard firing at 173, ceiling larry, or 173 popping in front of you after a blink, all this occuring in quick sequence for a "climatic" ending, I really liked the trailer though, it was very professional.

That's my fault with the rotating I suppose :<

I should've/would've done a foot rotate animation if Animation blending was available.. for instance in Valve's Source Engine since the model's use special .MDL formats and all, they have a system where they can blend any animations, which is extremely flexible.

I absolutely loved the trailer Lotims! It would be awesome to work with you, directly or indirectly on an SCP:CB project. I have experience with Vegas/PS. If you ever need a helping hand, you know where to turn!

No no no, I disagree, don't show 096 in action, create suspense, but don't spoil him to the viewer! And the jump at the end...it's cliche as all Hell, I'm sory if that sounds mean, but it's been done to death, and it's just....ugh.
