Re: (SUGGESTION)SCP-096 Containment Chamber
#32I think either way, if he saw 096's face, it'd be a definite containment breach, as by the time he would be terminated, 096 would probably have already breached the chamber. In his breach mentioned, it probably took very little over 10-20 seconds for him to tear through that wall.Night wrote:I like your idea, but one tiny little thing, really unimportant, raises in my mind, which is: wouldn't the scientist who seen 096 rather kill himself for the sake of the facility and its personnel before 096 does anything? But then the question comes, does 096 calm down if 096-1 is killed before 096 arrives to his location, or will he still ensue to devour 096-1's body (since in the main article its said that no remains have been ever left to whoever saw his face)?
Also, if someone were to have looked at the picture of 096, perhaps there could be a little more to 096 appearing than him spawning outside the room. Perhaps you'll hear an ominous music cue, as screaming approaches, before 096 breaks through a wall, into the room? I would assume the only way to achieve that would be to switch between two meshes of the room, one with the wall intact, and one with it broken. Then again, if he does manage to kill himself, some poor soul's gonna walk up to his body, and look up at the screen. So I think something as simple as a picture of 096 displayed in an open room will guarantee a breach. And if 096-1 were to die before 096 arrived, I feel that it probably would still do what it normally does since the article does mention that there are no traces of 096-1 left.
Also, just a random question about his chamber, would it be located in Light Containment, or Heavy Containment? His containment procedures make it seem very in the grey area. It's as simple as a chamber with a steel box in the middle, maybe with high enough security it could go in Light Containment.
It slep time bunner.
Re: (SUGGESTION)SCP-096 Containment Chamber
#33Personally Heavy, either a level 3 or 4 keycard required.
Idea: What if the CI had a picture of it's face in another location? They could take it out to show someone, and someone in the Foundation would of have seen it's face, so it would of have returned to the facility.

Re: (SUGGESTION)SCP-096 Containment Chamber
#34Or it could have been in another facility somewhere else and they showed someone in this facility the picture of it's face.mrpeanut188 wrote:Personally Heavy, either a level 3 or 4 keycard required.

Re: (SUGGESTION)SCP-096 Containment Chamber
#35I don't think that the facilities are close enough for that SCP-096 arrives in just 25-30 minutes (which is the time that takes to find him), not to mention that he has first to kill the person who saw his picture. Also, there's no a broken wall where we find him (which may be just a circumstantial argument, since he after having killed the person he could have been wandering around the facility and by then the door of that room was open).
Re: (SUGGESTION)SCP-096 Containment Chamber
#36Again, something I've been saying frequently. It may be possible, but it's just kinda stretching it to say that it came from another facility.Brunou8 wrote:I don't think that the facilities are close enough for that SCP-096 arrives in just 25-30 minutes (which is the time that takes to find him), not to mention that he has first to kill the person who saw his picture. Re: (SUGGESTION)SCP-096 Containment Chamber
#37Yeah, I think maybe the idea that there were 2 victims who both saw his face, so he killed one, then came back for the other.
Re: (SUGGESTION)SCP-096 Containment Chamber
#38But why does he need to kill two people to come to the facility?mrpeanut188 wrote:Yeah, I think maybe the idea that there were 2 victims who both saw his face, so he killed one, then came back for the other.
Re: (SUGGESTION)SCP-096 Containment Chamber
#39One elsewhere and one in the facility i assume, he re-enters the facility to kill the second person.Brunou8 wrote:But why does he need to kill two people to come to the facility?mrpeanut188 wrote:Yeah, I think maybe the idea that there were 2 victims who both saw his face, so he killed one, then came back for the other.

Re: (SUGGESTION)SCP-096 Containment Chamber
#40Exactly. The Insurgency could show someone off the site, so the Shy Guy would breach containment. They know that it is almost impossible for nobody to see him escape, he would draw a LOT of attention before the Foundation could react.SCP-500 wrote:One elsewhere and one in the facility i assume, he re-enters the facility to kill the second person.Brunou8 wrote:But why does he need to kill two people to come to the facility?
And considering how fast he moves, if they had someone nearby, he could be back to kill the rest of the witnesses in a matter of minutes.
