#53Well, Strange that the fist topic I click on in a long time ends up being this one. Never did I expect it to turn the way it did.
To hopefully change things back: What if there was a variant in which containment only worked 1/5 of the time. As in without an interference from another SCP. Maybe one of the guards gets distracted and looks away while the other one blinks, then the whole crew gets killed.
Another idea is that the player could have the choice to distract one of the guards, causing 173 to kill them and causing the MTF unit to attempt to recapture 173 all over again.
The player could use traps even, maybe deliberately leading 096 to the guards capturing 173, causing all hell to break loose. The player could use these ways to his advantage if lets say the guards are blocking the only way to one of the exits.
We could talk about that... or you guys can just continue on with whatever the hell you were talking about before haha

On topic: these ways that 173 containment fails, I don't really see them happening, MTFs aren't just average red shirts, they know what they are doing and have been trained for the situation.
On containing 173, I'm not really sure, 173 would be a sucker to transport, and caging him won't be easy either, we'd probably need to take some futuristic tech for that.
