The 914/keycard problem

Right now, if you have keycard, some eyedrops, a ballistic vest, an S-nav, a radio, and a gasmask, and go to 914, you are essentially set to get the heck out of there.
Let me elaborate on my qualms with 914
1. Keycards
First of all, it doesn't matter what kind of keycard you have. You can simply upgrade it to omni from the very beginning, a thing that really buggers me because it makes getting into restricted areas way to easy.
2. The Omni Card
First of all, I don't know why 005 is not there instead of omni. They are essentially the same thing-a key that opens all doors. Except 005 is conceivably more canon. Why not just let the cards go up to level 5, and then you need to find 005 to open some really special doors?
So basically, these are my two concerns, The Omni Card is not canon, and it is much too easy to gain access to any area. Another minor qualm of mine is that 914 spawns often spawns very close to 173's chamber, which makes it even easier to get equipped from the start. Could we not just take out the Omni card and add 005 as a legitimate SCP?
