Uploaded a second sketch I made yesterday, so it does not reflect your last suggestion. Working on a third one with a friend.
You are probably correct, limbs may be too short (can't agree with the comment about dynamics of the limbs, it's just a fault at drawing, not my idea

)
To the 'eye'. I think Sylocat leaves no place for doubts, it's an orb in the middle of the head. Here you'll find the second sketch:

Probably hard to distinguish in the scan (and in the paper, lol), but the skin is, instead, streched muscle fibers.

Most interested about the 'Orb' sensory system, my only worry from that is that it might possibly look a bit too much like a cyclops eye if done a bit wrong. Nice work on the sketch though, it's definitely starting to shape up in the right direction.

Since all I do is simple assets, I decided I'd try to make a quick version of 372 based off of that epic sketch. I don't normally do organic modeling so I had no idea what I was doing, but the end result wasn't THAT bad so might as well share it.

~4k polys. If you have any use for it be my guest ;)
I have all of the low-poly body parts (before smoothing modifier was applied) so if you do decide you want to modify it in some way just let me know and I'll upload that as well.
EDIT: Forgot to mention but I still need to add 372's face to the texture ;)

I think the orb was 372's author's idea.

Thats for anyone who wants it. They just need to texture and animate. Enjoy.

First I would like to say that I am happy that 372 is getting attention. I believe every SCP in the game should get proper attention. As for the look of the creature, it's so bizarre that I am at a loss of words when I try to comment on it. I will add a slight suggestion. Perhaps the 'cyclops' eye should look more like a slit until it opens. It will help it to look different from how a human eye would look.

Good work up there, I'll consider them as a reference, but I prefer starting a new model from scratch.
Unfortunately I'll be pretty bussy the next seven days, so I won't start working on the model yet. Please, be patient!
On the other hand, I asked my good father (who is pretty good at drawing) if he could make a better sketch for me to have a more accurate reference when modeling, so lets wait until he ends his work and see what he gave us!

hope you don't mind, but i also wanted to toss some concept ideas into the pile~ Especially since we have official word on what 372's appearance should look like.
I've doodled out some quick ideas for the head and body shape, along with some scribbled-over photos of geckos so get an idea of how it would look. Still unsure of leg length, though, and 16 total limbs still seems too crowded to me bluh 8\
but yeah some ideas! What do you think, sirs?
