I've doodled out some quick ideas for the head and body shape, along with some scribbled-over photos of geckos so get an idea of how it would look. Still unsure of leg length, though, and 16 total limbs still seems too crowded to me bluh 8\

but yeah some ideas! What do you think, sirs?

Perhaps it is too late, but I might as well throw on another concept art, probably the favourite of all the ones I've seen.

I mainly like this one for the legs, and the.... man-o-war like organ on its head

I know this doesn't show the greenish "hairs" 372 has but i drew a basic head and body concept. Sorry for the mess it's every thing in pen and on the right side of the page.

It's so cool, but (copied from the SCP-372 discussion thread):
Frozenbrack wrote:This is the mail I received from Sylocat (the creature's creator, lol) when I asked him for details about SCP 372 (for the model):

'I'm honored! I'v seen some gameplay videos and it's implemented very well.

372's overall biology is closer to reptilian than insectoid. Its body is serpentine and flexible, with eight pairs of limbs that I pictur as being somewhat like gecko limbs, to facilitate its climbing and clinging. The overall body shape is that of something like a cross between a gecko and salamander. Instead of an exoskeleton it just has those abnormally tight muscle fibers that allow it to move so fast. It's green, though that might be difficult to perceive with the lighting in the game.

As for its sensory organ. Instead of eyes and ears, it has a sensory organ that resembles a giant yellow eye, embedded sideways in the middle of its forehead… except the "eye" has no irises or pupils, it is simply a yellow orb above its mouth. This serves as its eyes and ears, but it also allows for electrolocation which it uses to track the pulse signals to anticipate movement of the human eye.

The one overall art-style tip I could give is this: I always pictured it, if one could ever actually get a good look at the thing, it would look rather mundane, or even somewhat silly. This doesn't matter, of course, since you can never get a look at the thing.'

You may find it useful. As I said in other topic, I will start working on a new model soon, hopefully better than actual one, :P .

whoops, forgot that little detail. I guess all I would have to change though is the face. Does the body look okay? I have this OCD about everything matching. If I have to make the face silly I want to be sure the body's okay before I do anything drastic.

I liked the spiky/fuzzy body style from this link:
http://th09.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/i/2 ... 5moh0t.jpg

But I also like the angler fish style mouth from:

Also, to solve the "getting a good look at it" problem, I think the blast door to SCP-372's chamber should be closed instead of open, and upon opening it, you see it in the middle of the room for around 1 second before it jumps off-screen. At that point, it begins following you around as normal.
What also might be cool, is that if you roused SCP-372 and then find SCP-096, SCP-372 will look at SCP-096's face. SCP-096 will seemingly start to go ballistic for no reason, then suddenly run off after SCP-372, which at that point stops spawning around you.
Also, why not make the sensory organ appear crystalline? If that's possible, it would definitely make it look more "alien".

Love this one, the design is MUCH more interesting than having 16 legs all lined up behind each other. I hope the model gets made in mind of this pic, or anything similar.

Well I'm glad you like it. That'd be one helluva model though what with all those legs and stuff to keep track of.
