It says so clearly on the FAQ. NO GUNS! Can't you understand? How hard is that? Again, NO GUNS!

Since apparently InnocentSam was going to ass 008, probably we could use the gun with the infected to slow them down!

Please, no guns. No matter what you do to make them useless, guns will break the atmosphere for most players, unless ammo is made scarce enough (by "enough" I mean "a lot"). Even then, it might still break the atmosphere.

As far as we are concerned guns are not a planned addition to the game, there are far more important things to add to the game than firearms. However I do think the issue of guns must be addressed ingame since it is a common issue brought up. Which is again why I advocate the DNA encoded guns.

The MTFs could have something like a bomb that explodes when they die (and their guns too)

This would make sense because nobody outside The Foundation could know their real identity or jobs.

Metal Gear Solid 4 ID locked guns are an OK solution considering the Foundation's resources and the fact that the game seems to take place in the future.

Present to near future is what I think. However I would imagine that the foundation has access to very advance technology, no thanks to the many unique SCP's they have to study and learn from.
