Gate A needs another ending!

I noticed that if you've contained larry and get killed at Gate A, you don't get another ending for it. I don't know if this is due to not having a dialogue for it or something but it feels weird. Containing Larry is supposed to have the repercussion of killing you in the end and the fact that you can just "respawn" kind of ruins that. That or put in another ending through that door at the end of the tunnel. Gate A should probably react to the Nuke room changes too. This also brings me to the topic of changing the design of Gate A since it feels a bit empty now but I think I posted that somewhere else, lemme see if I can find it.

Based off Dr Gears' idea on one of the threads on the old forum.
You walk into the center of the bridge, and everyone is directed towards you. Suddenly, you hear the faraway sounds of 682 escaping at Gate B. Another announcement over the PA from DukeLovesYou (as the same guy who announces that 106 escaped and the intercom voice) indicates all Helicopters stationed to report at Gate B to address the situation before it falls out of order. 2 of the helicopters head south, while one touches down to pick up the MTF squad stationed on the bridge. You suddenly get shoved from behind, into the helicopter before it takes off, with the following dialogue.
"What the hell is he needed for?"
"We need SOMEONE to wade out 682, don't see what value he holds out to us either, he's just a scared D, he probably knows nothing."

They want the D!
Isn't it kind of strange that they were trying to kill you throughout the entire breach, but now suddenly they see an use for you?

Well you're clearly a professional eldritch abomination dodger. They have uses, like Omniary said, they might just want to use you to draw out 682.

Then after that is the awaited 682 chase scene maybe? A super-complicated chase where you must avoid it from killing you? Then after that i don't know. Cake?

Its a lie.
Wouldn't the chase scene fit better when you are escaping the facility? Rather than just being thrown to it?

Perhaps if you go to Gate A with door control still on 682 would change the ending by breaking out at Gate B and activating the alternate ending. If you have door control off 682 wouldn't appear. I always thought 079 released him in the Gate B endings due to you re-enabling door control.

I absolutely LOVE this idea. Certainly adds a more human-yet-inhumane element to the MTFs and Guards.
