Though usually I'd prefer not to involve myself in such matters, I feel I must speak here;
The date of the post is always right below the title in the thread, and the date of the actual thread and last posted message is always to the far right. If you are to "Necropost" or "Bump an Old Thread", you are posting over a month since the last message.
