We're talking about cameras not monitors.

Unless I'm mistaken, their point still stands. The game doesn't support any more utility than what we see in-game already.

I'm talking about cameras that just watch you. They don't have to be connected to a monitor. It should be like in portal, with the cameras tracking your every move. Maybe some broken cameras laying around from SCP's. It would give you a feeling of being watched. I think.

I always thought the Idea of Trip Lasers would be nice.

Or Laser Grids that can be turned off via the Electrical Room.

Walking through the Lasers can either -

A) Kill you similar to the Tesla Gate

Or

B) Alert any nearby MTFs to the Player's Location. If the Player stays there, The MTFs will eventually find them. If the Player runs away, The MTFs will investigate the area around the Laser Grid.

C) Auto-turrets appear, the same auto-turrets will sing during the game ending.

Possibly. :)

Some may need to be jumped over or crouched under.

Some may need you to pass by carefully in a time sequence. Akin to Spider-Man The Movie Game Level " Chemical Chaos ". Wink, Wink, Nudge, Nudge, Omniary.

And some may require remote deactivation.

Not too sure how well that would work out. Jumping puzzles that require precision rarely work from a first person perspective.

Yeah, I just realized that. I guess you could crouch under them or there could be a tool to smash/disarm them.
