An SCP 990 dream sounds real awesome. I could write better dialogue though. I've got some cool stuff in mind.

I got chills just listening to 990 come to life. Man Regalis have to add this to the game somehow. You did an awesome job Volgun. Oh and isn't the guy from your reference picture the one from Shawshank Redemption?

Well, yes I agree. 990 needs to be added in some way of his dialogue. Just another small idea: Maybe sometimes when walking through Foundation, maybe some of 990 text would appear or he would bring back memories of D-9341s backstory. Just my one dime.

Also. Nice job on that 990 voice testing, Volgun.

Haha, don't forget me with the "You don't wanna wake up" idea :P. But let's not kid ourselves, you made a kickass monologue and Volgun just made it into a kickass audio! I have no problem with that being in the intro right now. Just wonder how the actual conversation will look like! 990 talking from the shadows??

Another draft:
[Sequence and game begins with D-9341 appearing in a park with SCP-990 on a bench facing towards water (like this :right: http://scp-wiki.wdfiles.com/local--files/scp-990/scp990 but without explosion in background)]

990: Take it in... peace. It's a luxury.

[SCP-990 turns to face D-9341]

990: You look afraid. Why? Don't be afraid, it's a beautiful day -- rather, night -- but it sure seems like day, doesn't it? I guess that's what dreams do. I would happen to know -- or I should, given the amount of time I spend in these things.

[Pause -- Background scene begins to gradually fade into white or black (TBD) over the course of the monologue]

990: You're quite the quiet one, aren't you?

[Short Pause]

990: Alright then, I'll tell you outright, in case my hints weren't enough. You're in a dream, this may be the last one you will ever have, for nightmares come ahead.

[Pause]

990: When you wake up, you will be taken. Taken to a place I know quite well, the Foundation. They say they will have everything under control. No reason not to believe them, they've done it for a very long time now. But, this time, when you go, things will go wrong.

[High-pitched tone starts to fade in]

990: You must stay alert, put survival first, and trust nobody.

[Pause]

990: If I were you, I wouldn't want to wake up. But, unfortunately, you must.

[High-pitched tone takes over and D-9341 wakes up to an MTF agent shaking him awake in a prison cell]

MTF: C'mon! Get up! Get up now!

[MTF notices D-9341 awake]

MTF: You're being relocated. Now! Let's go! We got 32 others waiting for you!

[Player controls D-9341through the prison to the outside and into a van]

[Van doors close and player wakes up in original intro]

I have an idea; instead of making 990 pretty much give away what is to happen, why not make him a little more positive and mysterious? It would transition cleanly with the mysterious yet eerily peaceful intro of the game. Going off of existing ideas already stated, something like:

990: You are special and you haven't a clue about it. I've been waiting decades for a person like you to enter the Foundation.
[pause]
990: But you'll be treated like a cockroach from the minute you enter, and you will undergo excruciating experiments.
[pause]
990: Do not despair, for isn't it the cockroach who can survive decapitation? Who can emerge from the ashes of nuclear fallout?
[pause]
990: D-9341, you are special, and this dream is special, but it will be the last, for nightmares are coming.
[pause]
990: If I were you I wouldn't wake up, but it looks as if you must.

I like this because it also introduces the player's role in the facility. Also, I know I have been ranting about this, but how cool would it be if an alarm clock started sounding towards the end of your dream and increased in volume till you woke up in your cell? Volgun, you gotta add that sound effect :D

I know none of the scripts are final, but I decided to make another test - messing around with methods to make it sound more dream like.

It sounds good but the effect is too... "strong"
