That really sounds fun and would help emerge the player further into the game due to actual consequences and using ones brain more often!
You have all of my "HELL YES!" as well good sir.

I'd already enjoyed 008 and the slow decent health and sanity wise. Such passive-agressive parts of the game would be awesome :D

Well, this idea should definitely make it into the game. It's a part of 714's effects, as stated on the SCP page for this.

It will definitely bring yet another danger, and would also spark more ideas. This game is definitely getting better, and I am happy to contribute.

If you read the 714 page on the SCP Foundation, you'd realize that "If someone falls asleep wearing SCP-714, the only known means of waking them is to remove SCP-714" which would not happen. Well, not until the MTF might come in to ask you about how you got to 714 and shoot you.

Yeah. falling asleep/passing out doesn't really fit the game at all - not to mention you'd most likely get murdered in your sleep by an SCP, likely :106: .

Though as I stated before, random blinking/lethargy would be a good side effect for 714 - and like you said (or someone did), it would discourage people from constantly wearing it.

Which is why I suggested this. It would be a barrier from "infinite" usage of 714 and the gas mask at the same time. 714 is friendly, but it shouldn't be "too" friendly at the same time. It's something anomalous...

Yup, I agree. The whole theme of SCP is that anything, even if safe and beneficial, can hurt you. THat's where the horror is - you don't know what can happen at any time, considering everything in the facility is anomalous.
