I don't really see why looting as to be comical. If you're stuck in the player's situation, why wouldn't you loot the bodies? Though, I'll agree it would things a bit too easy.

It's comical because you are taking stuff from a dead body with a lot of dangerous SCPs around, it's not the best way to survive. I prefer to see those items directly (something like the pill behind a corpse)

Well personally I find nothing funny about desperately looting a corpse murdered by the very monsters you are hiding from. As for the difficulty, yeah it would make keycards easier to come by, but I agree that corpses themselves aren't very common. Add to that my previous point that some map seeds are ridiculously scarce of keycards and helpful items in general (watch the latest Markiplier scp video if you want proof).

I don't see anything funny about stealing from corpses. If anything, it would show how grave the situation is and how desperate D-9341 is to escape.

I'm not asking for corpse looting though, because the game is perfectly fine without it. But I'm not against the idea either. Especially since, as of right now, lootable corpses aren't very plentiful.

If everyone's so edgy about all the "help" these "surprisingly common" corpses will give you, then how about this: loot them for DOCUMENTS. documents that hold conversation exchanges, info on Foundation events, etc. or maybe even logs (video/sound). now that would be interesting.

No loot:
"WTF! Dead guard! Disguting... Let's run out of there, maybe there's 173 over here..."

Looking at it now the whole looting thing does seem like a bad idea.
