I'm still not understanding what's so funny about taking something from a dead body. Particularly ones with twisted heads.
It's just a waste of time, you should be trying to escape, not stealing crap from a corpse
Didn't you consider that he might have something on him that is useful?

Only if it's too obvious, but you don't have to look inside his pockets, what do you want, a Mastercard?

That could actually be quite interesting. The bodies should have randomly generated items, which could range from documents and batteries to mastercards and a cigarette. That way at least there isn't a guaranteed gain from checking the corpse.

I'd like to repeat that I'm not asking for corpse looting, and the game is perfectly fine without it. But Omniary's suggestion is a very cool one.

Agreed, I'm with Omniary's idea.

I'm not. Still thinking that it makes the game less scary. Dead guards have to be disgusting, not attracting

Then perhaps Mangled and Mutilated Guards?

Attempting to loot them would probably cause enough blood to cover the D-Class that It could leave tiny splats here and there as he walks. The MTFs would most likely end up following such a trail.
