I was just imagining, what if the game could make of both the oculus rift and neurosky's mindwave headset.

The oculus rift would have a sense of immersion not to mention head tracking and such, but combined with the mindwave, which reads brainwaves as input for the game, the game could tell how stressed/relaxed you are and adjust itself accordingly, it can even be programmed to detect when you blink, which means that rather than having an artificial blink meter in game, it would be based on your actual blinking so if you can go longer without blinking that's great and vice versa.

I'm not saying it will ever happen or that it would be practical to implement, but just imagine the possibilities!

There is an oculus rift library for blitz3d, so oculus rift support is possible in the future. However, nobody's been able to port it into SCP:CB yet.

Regalis mentioned getting to it sometime, but he needs to find a way around the head-tracking which can be done with some DLLs.

The other thing is a headset that can read brainwaves. It can tell how focused or relaxed a person is, as well as apparently now having an algorithm to detect blinking.

I'm sure you can tell where I'm going with the blinking part, rather than actually using a blink meter in game, it would actually track when you open/close your eyes in real life. As for the focus/unfocus part of it, I could see that playing into the generation algorithms. If you're super focused/stressed perhaps you start hallucinating in game or something, maybe start seeing 173 or 106 when they're not actually there, and on the contrary if you're too relaxed the game might throw a jump scare or something to throw off your calm.

Maybe not, but it would be meant to be a reflection of the players own stress/fear and is meant to help immerse the player, and you'd have to be in really bad shape in the game (like hurt and really stressed out in real life for that to happen)
