SCP 1770 is the first SCP I plan to make. I will post my progress on it in this thread. I plan to post my first version of the model in the next few days.
I need some help. What programs are used to make the NPCs and rooms in this game? I have downloaded Blitz3D but it isn't anything like the 3D modeling programs I have used before, and I also noticed that the the game's files are are in a format that Blitz3D does not recognize. I really want to get started working on 1770 soon.

Well, i can only wish you good luck. It's a SCP pretty hard to model. How are you gonna do all those chains on him and shet?
Anyways, good luck again, waiting to see some screenies!

1770 is only practice before I move on to something harder.
The model will not have all the individual chains in its shape. I will use textures to achieve that effect. Since I have not done any modeling in a long time I thought that 1770 would be good since it is a simple humanoid shape.
When I do the next SCP on my list I plan to get really creative with it. I have seen the awesome models that have been made for 106 and 513-1 but not added to the game yet and I want to make something just as awesome for 136.

Need help. I don't know what program I should be using. I did download Blitz3D but now that I have actually looked at it I realize that Blitz3D is probably just was was used for the programming, not the modeling.

That's correct, Blitz3D is only used to compile source files (.bb files in this case) into executables. If you want to model you're gonna have to get a modelling program like Blender and talk to someone who knows how to do the appropriate file conversions.

FragMotion can convert models into .b3d which are used for CB. I never did that myself though, so I don't know what you'd exactly have to do.
(And yes, Blender is probably the best modeling program you get for free.)

Would you recommend that I use Blender to make the NPCs? I have also downloaded 3D World Studio and to me it looks like this was only used to make the rooms, it does not look appropriate for making characters. I have used blender before although it was a long time ago.

Yes, the rooms were made in 3D World Studio. Don't know about the NPCs though. Some of them were made by forum users like the 096 model by Night and they use the programs they are most familiar with. As long as you end up with a .b3d file, you can use the program you like. And Blender is one of the best in my opinion.

Thank you. I will get started on it although I might need help changing it to a b3d file.
