There was a project to port SCP:CB into C++, actually! We're not sure what happened but the author slowed down his progress due to personal life things, it had plenty of progress, here's the thread:

Maybe you could be able to contact him and help him out?

Welcome to the forums, by the way.

Use Wine with SCP Containment Breach on Linux, it worked for me, no need for a port.

My intention is no to port SCP-CB to C++, is port it to Linux indeed. Answering the second comment, well, that is hard discution subject. I think that is better to have a native version for linux, to ensure that most of the users will not have problems running it. And I think that one of the most popular indie developments being ported to Linux, will promote this platform, which I support. I'm just asking if any developer is interested in helping me :096:

Just because you managed to run it on Linux doesn't mean it shouldn't have a port.

Please, I need anybody who knows where I can find some source code. Doesn't matter if it is old or incomplete. I could modify it trying to resemble the original game, or even create an spin-off for linux

It's inside the game files, there should be a folder called Source Code, which contains the game's stuff you can open with Blitz.
