I can't wait till this is ready for testing. Do you know anything about Oculus Rift support? It would be cool to have such a feature in this game. I'm not sure about how hard it would be to implement such a mechanic though. And who modified the layout of the website?

Not juanjpro, but I'll answer the questions as best I can:
  • Oculus rift support probably won't happen with SCPCBIrrlicht anytime soon, primarily because of the Rift's price and the specs needed.
  • Regalis updated phpBB. The new version is probably incompatible with the theme we used to use, so I guess it's been rewritten from scratch.

This is simply amazing! I'll have to play it for my channel some time. I especially love the dynamic lighting, and the smoke in the earlier video.

In terms of ideas, I would like to see 173 move when behind a wall despite the player's looking at it. Even if you prefer it the way it is, adding this into an agressive NPC's option would make me happy.
Spoiler
Although, it's not about me.
Also, I would like to see 106 get progressively more agressive to the player as the player continues to evade him. Like mentioned earlier, he could use, as I'd like to call it, "dimension hopping" to get closer to the player without the player knowing where he'll come from. And since he is the God of his dimension, I assume, couldn't he create various monsters to hunt you down and attack you, or even one that latches onto the player to act as a beacon?

I kinda' skimmed over the last 50 pages so I could've missed something, but how faithful of a remake do you plan this to be? In other words, how much of the original's feel will you maintain aside from what's impossible from the change in engine, are there any SCP's you plan on adding in that aren't in the original, and will you be adding some of your own scripted events?

Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to implement that at all, since I probably will consider this done way before I'm even able to buy a Rift.

When I started, I was planning on creating a very faithful port of the game. However, as I progressed I realized that there are some SCPs that are executed terribly (1074's execution is so bad that I won't even bother remaking it, can't bother to make a good implementation) so there will be a few kinda-major differences. The AI for every NPC is being rewritten from scratch, with little to no code being based on the original (106 will certainly be a lot more aggressive than it currently is). There will also be some other changes here and there for the sake of optimization or convenience (for example, separating each zone with elevators or airlocks, to be able to add loading screens between each zone). I don't plan on making any new events or SCPs though.

If all this is the case, then I might actually find this to be better than the original. I will; however, miss the feel blitz3d brings to the table. In fact, I'm going through the same thing with Minecraft. But that's my only nitpick.

Will this port include the 939 chamber you were working on? Because in the files, I saw some texture for the room, and even the room itself.

It might. You just saw it in the files because he used it as a test room in earlier builds.

Wow, there is literally no one online right now. Not even a bot?

Anyways, hyped, can't wait to try this version. Don't know why I'm typing this.
