SCP-106 CONTAINMENT IDEA REVISIONS

Okay you might remember my last 106 thread about containment revisions. This is sort of the same, but with better Grammar and not so many ideas. Plus, there's some actual proof attached to these ideas.

1. SPHERICAL CELL:
-------------------------
If I did not read the document wrong, it said that the secondary containment area consists of "sixteen spherical “cells”, each filled with various fluids and a random assembly of surfaces and supports". So, when I saw this, I though immediately of making 106 slower when coming out of it's cell. He walks out like nothing ever happened. So, maybe, just give him a hard time trying to get out. Same when going through other walls, he can go slower. And, that his containment chamber can be spherical...

2. LIGHTS:
------------------------
I read in the article that "Secondary containment is to be fitted with light systems, capable of flooding the entire assembly with no less than 80,000 lumens of light instantly with no direct human involvement. Both containment areas are to remain under 24 hour surveillance." When I thought this, I imagine a switch, on the control panel, that can flood the chamber in lights when you turn all the light systems on in the control center. But, if you look directly into the lights, your character can go blind, and if you do not cure it quickly with SCP-500, or "Health" from SCP-294, you can hear a crashing, (you falling out the window), and you die. Dumb Idea, for a cheap death. Also, if you fail to contain 106 and he walks out, you could turn on these lights, and see him pause for a minute or two.

3. 106 Appearances:
-------------------
I thought of this when I was reading the article. I saw the victim on the bottom of the page, and I started thinking. What if when you got nearer to SCP-106's containment chamber, you could see a few random NPC's walking about (D-Class, Guard, Researcher), and you could see 106 come from a wall, and pull them into the corrosion puddle. Then if you go into the pocket dimension, you can see these people hanging of ledges, then when you get close they fall to their death, or you may see 106 pulling them apart in a unreachable area, (This was from the story, "Treats" by Dr. Gears ), or get crushed by a pillar on that path.

4. Cameras (AESTHETICS):
-------------------------------
I also saw in the article that 106's containment chamber is under 24 hour surveillance. I didn't see any security cameras near the chamber. Maybe you could see 3-4 cameras, and if you go there for so long, a MTF or guard could show up.

5. Laughing:
----------------
This is maybe a useless jumpscare tactic, but when you go near 106's chamber, you could hear him laugh, then cracks or corrosion appear under you with a 3 second version of 106's theme. Just something to scare the player.

6. Death:
--------------
I also read in the article that victims die after they are "released" by 106. So, maybe if, when you go into the pocket dimension 1 or 2 times, you can die a few minutes after. But, when you get released, you can see the message, "You feel like shit, your hands, arms, and body are covered in black corrosion". When you see that, your vision can get black cracks on it.

Welp, those are my ideas. Hope you liked them. If you have any questions, please comment down below!

I agree with most of these ideas as they could make the game more canon, but 3 and 5 seem a bit unnecessary. They might scare the player, but it just seems like they would be a bit goofy.

^^True^^.

These are pretty great. I'm wondering how the document wasn't read 100% correctly (?). (Nevermind that...)

Wow, never expected to see good feedback. Yea, I though about 3 and 5 on a whim. But it seemed like a good idea to sort of scare the new players
If you wanted to know what I was thinking about the person falling of a ledge, report to this video:

EDIT: Video doesn't work anymore. Deleted.

What I meant:

You know how in Half-Life 1 (if you played it) when the scientist says "I can't hold it any longer" and falls from the elevator? That's what I was thinking.

I always thought it should be that way. Surviving after being pulled by SCP-106 and passing through the pocket dimension seems impossible to me. If SCP-106 catches you you are basically dead.

The idea of you dieing after you took so long to escape or immediately dieing after being pulled into the PD just seems stupid and wouldn't be anything new since most of the other SCPs already kill you instantly.

You should know that you don't "escape" from the pocket dimension, SCP-106 releases you, not to mention the big wound that he does to you when he pulls you there. It is completely logical that you can't survive after that.

Yes Brunou, I understand that.

But I am wondering why people are talking about just the death-release thing. I was thinking on other solutions to 106. I just thought that since the recent update where there's a cheep trick to make you fall into the pocket dimension, it seems that there are no "special" tactics that he can do now. All it is, is this:

106 floats from the ground.
106 comes from a wall.
106 puddle makes you go to pocket dimension.
106 chases you.
106 comes from the 895.
106 comes if you fail to capture him.
106 comes randomly.

It's the same as 173. There are no "Special" things he can do now, with the exception of the server room, and popping up in the room when the lights go out, and with the lockrooms. 096 has the same problem. He has only 1 "special" event. Well, 2 if you include his old lockroom. 049 has the same, too. Only 1 special event. When you enter his chamber.

I don't know. Something to think about.

Hm, I don't think that you can add something new to SCP-106 unless the original author does that to the article.

Uh, yes. We can. Make him more like the article in game.
