When I first saw the achievements, they were immediately bland to me. All it is, is just plain text. Nothing to tell you "Hey, you got something."

I had then gotten my own sounds. There are two of them, and I think they would represent good achievement noises.

First (Electronic Fade-Out):
Mediafire Player

Second (Basic, Electric beep noise):
Mediafire Player

First sounds like it would be better for some kind of window popup noise. Maybe when your mouse hovers over the achievement to show the little cursor box.
Second sounds like something that could be a little louder/longer to play when you earn the achievement.

The first sound could work as the new saving sound.

I honestly like the crappy computer sounding thing a lot better as a loud notice that you've saved successfully.
Maybe it could be used in Safe mode since saving doesn't matter nearly as much?
