You can find duck tape in office areas, and you can put it over a camera, using up the tape and making it so you can't see anything out of that camera from the security room, and the MTF can't either.

Personally I think this is an alright idea, and I think it would be easy to implement into the game.

I got an idea:
New item: baseball bat - spawns in office areas. It can be used to permanently disable security cameras.

it could also be used to knock some sense into MTF and SCPs, but NEVER use it on 106.

If you look in places around the forums, you can see why suggesting this was a bad idea 4 years ago, and the stance hasn't changed. This is supposed to be a horror game, not Saints Row.

I know, its a bad idea for a horror game, but then again, a baseball bat as a whole is a bad idea. if you remove the cameras with it, there is less horror as the NTF won't be able to find you as easy.

It's not that, it's that it could potentially be a way to attack the MTF, and even then what other purpose beside smashing cameras would it have?

The idea of taping the monitors seems so silly considering they could remove the tape in like, 5 seconds. If you're serious about this, something like coating the monitors with paint would stop them while being harder for them to get off.
