SCP:CB is in need of a new Sound Desighner

So I was talking to Vane Brain and we currently have no sound designer for SCP:CB. There are still some old SFX that need to be replaced. In order to avoid using copyright SFX, we'll need an in-house SFX artist. If anyone is interested, please reply to this thread.

I might be able to record some sounds as I did for my mod. Just make a list of the sound effects that you think need to be replaced and I'll try to make a few new ones that might sound good to others in the community.

Replacement sound list:
1. Heavy containment door sound: Specifically the weird artificial creaking/squealing sound when it opens/closes.
2. Apache Helicopter and M230 (Apache gun) If you look these up on YouTube, the ones in real life sound incredibly different from the ones currently in-game.
3. Guard/MTF FN P90: The one in real life sounds far different from the one in-game.
4. Bullet-hit/miss SFX: These are very outdated and need work. Bullet cracks don't sound like poorly recorded cartoon ricochets (this is what the current miss SFX sounds like).
New additions:
I think there should be an intercom statement when the Warheads are either deactivated/activated.
I think that's all of the sounds I've noticed. The rest sound pretty good to me.

Sadly I don't own guns but I might come across something that could fit part of the big door sounds.

Alright. Would you like me to send you a file? I've got one that would fit the Apache's m230 rather well. Also, I've got a recording of Apache helicopters in flight from Freesounds.org. A royalty free sound site.

I can experiment around with the sounds, although I don't have a lot of experience in sound production as I've only recorded a few sounds in the past and edited them as well as edited previous recordings in audacity and I don't really know what's expected. If you tell me what the sounds should sound like I could come up with a few edits and send them in to you and the others on the forum to review.

I'm going for realistic. This is about as real as it gets.
Apache Engine with M230 sounds:

P90 PDW:

Bullet Crack/flyby SFX:

Good luck. Remember, there's nothing wrong with using other recordings as long as they sound good and aren't copy righted by anyone.
I can send you the ones I got from Freesounds.org as they aren't copy righted. Ask me if you need them

A wider range of sounds is a wider range of sounds to edit
