Wow, I haven't been on here for so long, and I'm surprised to see all the chatter about this suggestion.

I've been thinking about how some people would prefer not to have 1st person hands, so I think there should be an option to turn them off. That way, everyone can be happy ;)

another note, is there any luck on finding animators? or is this idea going to end up dead real soon?

I agree with Omniary, for the most part hands would take away from the terrifying imagination you have as you control the character. However, I do feel that hands would greatly enhance the 012 death scene. How the hell did those new lines of music magically appear on that paper?? It would be way cooler to see bloody hands drawing the lines out, or something like that if possible.
