Well, considering Regalis is doing the forest now, I would guess this is a suggestion? If so, it seems a bit odd, for an entire forest to disappear, only to be replaced by a simple plane.

Anyhow, here's what I've got right now for the starting box-mesh 860-2 based on Moonsaber's concept art; It's very muscular and complex so I'm going to give a shot at sculpting the rest of it while still keeping the poly limit lower than 10k.

It looks nice, but you should make the tail more pointy if you haven't thought about it. I also think a long throat would make it terrifying.

So far... WARNING CRITICISM
I can't dig the claws, I'm sure you'll improve them, but the 3 finger thing is a bit cliched. The lower legs are really beefy, and I think they should be very, very thin, after all, this thing is supposed to be fast. End of criticism. I would recommend thick, juicy, muscular thighs though, yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, to make those, slender, bony legs move, mmmmm. For the tail, I believe it should be thick, but eventually thin into a point, or a manipulator hand-ish thing. I like it so far, and I think it'll make a terrifying monster.

Cool,
how fast is the Monster?
Because i would find it cool if the monster where faster then the Player.
Maby exactly as fast as the player if he is sprinting.
But it should be possible to shake him of. Maby if your hiding bihind a fat or more trees.

Here are some drawings some details of the body micro as well as some alternate features like claws feet and heads. Sorry if I was unclear in my first drawing most of what destructoid said is what I was going for except for the three fingered claw I like that. But I still gave you some alts if you disagree.

Actually. The monster doesnt really run. He stalks the player. If player tries to run he will chase him down and kill them. Bascially. You will have to walk really slowly and stay on path. If he comes at you. He will slowly circle you once. You will need to stay completely still. If you move in ANY way while in this process, He will growl. Each time louder and louder (6 Times) then ending in him attaking. I you stay still, he will wander off. Yet still keep a good eye to make sure your not running.

Wow,
and i thought my idea was good.

Do you also include that the player can try to brake the door?

You cant break the door. You simply go from one side to the other. once you enter, The door shuts tight. Meaning knowone can get in, or out.

I was sort've viewing the monster as a wraith werewolf.

Thanks for the new images Moonsaber, I think I'll replace those claws with the new ones.
