Just a thought, 079 influences the player to take the gate B path, or the "Bad" ending, since you let 079 take over. I know we already have our "Good" ending, where the character is captured by the chaos insurgency while they have foiled their plans... kind of.

I was thinking that perhaps maybe, since that was a neutral ending, another good SCP like Cassie or Fred, or even Cain, would perhaps influence you to find a way to cut the power completely to the site, relinquishing 079's grip on the facility. This would give you a chance to go out another a Gate C, and this would be the truly good ending. The MTF units would tell you to put your hands up, and they handcuff you and push you toward a helicopter. The ending words to the logo go something like this.

"Franklin, is the site secure?"

"Yes sir, but the server is fried *static* Nine tailed Fox recovered evidence that the Chaos Insurgency connected 079 to the CPU. A rogue D-Class cut the power. He saved us sir.

"This *static* was unexpected. How many Subjects escaped?"

"682 and 106 broke out at gates B and A."

"Have the D-class's monthly termination delayed, then have him and the Beta come back to the recovery site. This hell isn't over yet."

I know that's movie licensed, but hey, I'd donate if we decided to ask them for it.

Then, 9341's edited file will come up on the screen, with the psychological status being "Unusual Mental stability", and the termination status being "Postponed indefinitely", and assignment being "Recovery of all escaped SCP's due to firsthand expierence." Then, the game ends, going to the achievements screen (Contained 106, Used 914, etc.).

I know this probably will never happen, since it seems a bit too "Oh yay flowers and happiness and rainbows and AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" I just thought it might be a nice relief to a guy who has spent the last night in a hellhole trapped with a killer statue, a shy tank-ripper, an old man who brings you to his pocket dimension instead of his house, a homicidal computer, a bug that taunts you in your peripheral vision, the one ring, some weed, and a giant lizard.

So... thoughts?

Oh, and anyone who's wondering who a Beta Class is, it's a D-class pardoned for extraordinary bravery in the field. In other words, they are basically proper employees.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the parameters. If there ever comes a way to kill MTF's, you have a limit of one, other wise the good SCP (Cain, Fred, Cassie) will refuse to talk with you. If you meet 079 beforehand, and do as he says, but don't go back to him and go to the thing, it will not refuse to talk with you again.

I Think it's a good idea there are cases where Class Ds Are not killed but it happens very,very,very rarely. So this would be a good hidden ending, like one that is very hard to
get

I was kind of thinking like... well, it's hard to explain. Its like, for the sake of a good ending, the good guy doesn't die in a breach of the lore. Like that ONE time where it goes right. Sort of like Karma. You do buisness with bad guy, you die. You do buisness with good man, you free to go!

Also, the Foundation is obviously monitoring their site. When they realize someone cut the power, they are gonna check whose head they are blowing off when the guy shows himself.

where did you find about beta-class? I don't remember having ever read about it

Beta class are what happens when a class d is promoted and don't have to die at the end of the month

it was a higly controversial dcision, even for the O5, citing its pre-incarceration status as a excuse and given the beta-class designation as a temparal one(is not an official title).

I don't know if the O5 would do that again, just for an interrogation. Maybe they just cancel your monthly termination until new orders, and some MTF soldier congratulating you extra officially.

The whole beta thing seems too... happy right away. Maybe they could add a docment(like the achievement screen we had) saying everything we acomplished as reasons for considering giving someone else the so called "beta status"
