I experienced it with both 0.9.2 and 0.9.3, and I'm using an nVidia card too.
Could somebody toss me a link of v0.9? It was pretty stable on my machine.
Hello :)

Seems a few people are having this problem, i wonder if it has something to do with the fasttext thing?.

The major bug, that I have hit so many times i can't play the game, is the electrical room (right?) that has the level two key card and the navigator, it is not generating at all so I can't continue. Also the generation of multiple splits, (the 3 way intersections) is generating several of them connected together and i get lost very easily and go in circles, that could also be fixed.

I don't have a proof for this, but something really weird happened.
I had a gas mask, SCP-714 and S-Nav Ultimate. You know, when you go into the maintenance tunnels, the S-Nav doesn't show any maps. Well, I went through the tunnels, but with the gas mask (put on "Very Fine" through SCP-914) and SCP-714 on, so I had infinite stamina. :106: didn't even get out, but :173: did. I managed to reach the other elevator. When I went to the surface, the S-Nav Ultimate still didn't show any maps, but the SCPs around. I tried to go back, but the problem persisted.

Found out what causes/fixes this, I'll upload the fix tomorrow.

Well. At least I now know that I am not the only one with the Flickering Text Bug.

I have an Nvidia Graphics Card and Intel HD Graphics Card. I tried switching between them and the Flickering Text remains.

For those that have the flickering text, download this and put it in your SCPCB folder.

Run it and see if the text flickers.

This is not a fix, it's just a basic executable that uses FastText.

If you mean the Frames Per Second reading, Then No. It doesn't flicker.

Unless you mean something else.. Since I just saw the Frames Per Second reading and a Spinning Cube. :P

However.

I did try running the Game out of Full Screen Mode, And everything worked fine. Though, Everything was running less smoothly.

Yet launching it in Full Screen Mode caused the Flickering Text to return.

So the text works properly in windowed mode?

Here's a full screen version of that test:

If it's caused by fullscreen, then the second line of text will flicker for you.

Wait a minute here...
I have the same setup; two graphics cards, with one a Nvidia and the other an Intel!
Perhaps we may be on to something...

The second line does flicker, albeit not nearly as badly as it does in the actual game. Juanpro, it looks like you're onto something here.

Thanks for your help on this matter.

EDIT: I tested 0.9.3 in windowed mode, and the flicker is gone for me as well, so at least there's a temporary solution.

Okay, let's see what happens when the antialiasing mode is changed:

https://www.mediafire.com/?rv8x25ojkx1ip4b

See how much the text flickers in each of the antialiasing modes, and tell me the results. There are 4 modes (Default/no antialiasing/normal antialiasing/ClearType antialiasing) The test changes mode every 5 seconds, so you should wait at least 20 seconds to get all of the results.
