So I was playing scp and i ran across 1048 in one of the 2-way halls.
I tried to go around 1048 without triggering it, I did trigger 1048 but I couldn't hear ears growing
on my body, no text displayed either.

If you run away in time the effects wont kick in. It's not a bug.
