Memory Access Violation

I've been having a problem with getting the SCP: Containment Breach launcher to work. Here's the problem, each time the launcher starts up it says "Memory Access Ciolation". Dose it not support my computer or did I not do something right?

Windows 7. Do you need any newer then that?

I'll see if anything stated in the thread helps me, I won't be actually trying anything stated in the thread any time soon. My cumputer was knocked over by my cat and the screen just stays blank so I'm going to wait till I buy a new computer, or if I decide to repair my current computer.
