Night Vision Goggles Overlay Doesn't Work

The overlay doesn't work properly and everything is just black and you can't see anything. Game works as normal though. Yes, I have tried getting ones from the map, spawning them, putting batteries in them ETC.
They show the battery symbol and the locations of SCPs ETC.

Did you set the camerafog / brightness higher than 10?
If so, that's the cause.

Yes but using that has worked in previous versions

Are you sure? Cause the previous version I tried results the overlay black.
If you're saying it worked on previous ones, it might be your adjusting the gamma from the menu.

I'll try that later but there isn't much of a difference in it.
