It is probably a false positive.
You can also take screenshots with a program called gyazo you can look it up on google.

Windows Defender is a piece of shit. Don't use it.

Also, there is no Malware in the CB folder. Regalis wouldn't put it up for release if it did.

Yeah, my idiot cousin once deleted SCP because his computer said it was a virus.

Rest assured, it's not a virus or any other sort of malware. As popular as SCP got, I'm sure the world would know by now if there was malware within the game. It's just these shitty PC protection programs that mistake it for such.

On the note of shitty defense, I had a friend tell me that his friend had his copy of Norton delete itself for false positive.

I have the same problem. I tried mirror 1, didn't work. I tried mirror 2, same outcome.

Spoiler
So it's just 1.3.2? Could be something that snuck up on me when I recompiled Blitz3D.

Just in case, delete the game's files and do a full scan of your PC. I have to look into this, it could actually be something really severe.
Let's hope it's just a false positive because this is a completely new build of some software that hasn't been updated for years.

If anyone wants to check for themselves, you could also try scanning the contents of this zip: https://github.com/Regalis11/scpcb/blob ... ss_bin.zip. If you find anything here, that means it's probably something on my end.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Edit: It seems that it's just a false positive.

I have had false positives in the past as well as on other computers with another game which didn't have any viruses etc.. It could be that the software is outdated or broken or something else is affecting it (Which is my guess though I am not an expert.).

I do not know exactly whether it is the defender of the windows or my antivirus is Microsoft Securit, but whenever I try to start SCP CB does not appear the loading screen appears and the antivirus it has detected a dangerous trojan called Varpes.J! Cl

Researched more about the problem and not found any way to solve it but realized that other discurssões in other forums about the same trojan!

If you can help me I thank :035:

It's a false positive. There's no malware inside the game's folder.
