Can't open game at all

Ok, so I'm new to pc. I'd recently saw gameplay of Barotrauma and was like "hey, that looks pretty good" But to my surprise when I opened the shortcut all it gave me was a bunch of scripting and files and the like. If anyone else is having this problem or knows how to fix it, please help/inform me. I really want to play this game for myself. Thank you.
