If he only has one leg, it probably was his last day. That's one good thing about losing a leg, I guess. No more military service. And the fact that people won't bother you so much about exercising XD

My sensory nerve endings on my right foot were singed as well. So I cant feel the floor from the bottom of either. It sucks because I'm going to take a celebratory vacation with my family to Greece, I won't be able to feel the sand in my toes, or peoples nut sacks when I kick them. It is a shame, truly is. For now, I am staying at home, working and attending football practices, the prosthetic works very well but I'm almost broke because of it. I can run and walk without a limp, and if I'm wearing sneakers, you can't even tell I even had one.

The bright side is that you didnt lose an arm, so in some way, I think a leg would be the one prefered over an arm if you lost one.
