Oh what an interesting topic. Here are some of my (very old) creations:

This one is very very old, circa. 2008 (light-years for me). I did it to see how detailed a model I could do. I had started modeling not very long ago, at maximum one year before doing this.

I have a very fine-tuned geometric/visual intuition - or had, at least. There was a lot of room for improvement when it comes to technique.

This one was of a project (in which I was by far the largest contributor...). Looking back, it did have many guns. This is a building (an expansion complex), a flying machine (an interceptor) and an anti-tank weapon.
Image
The project died fast. I did too many models to mention.

And this was the first project I fully textured and completed. Around 30 models. Shown here is a carrier (analogue to a aircraft carrier). The spacecraft would enter and exit from the main sac:

It was intended as an additional to a game. You might surprised to know this last project was fully complete (as of early 2011). The community just didn't give it attention and it still sits in the servers, gaining dust until today. Yep...

An then there's 079 and 294. I take them as amongst the best, most professional model's I've done. :)

EDIT: I used Wings3D for all these models, and many others.

These are great! I love both ship models. The machine(the first picture) was great in terms of detail! Good job! Which game did the addition of the ship go to? I would love to try it out.

Wine glass looks good btw!
Yep, he did a really good PIXEL BY PIXEL......

thanks for sharing this!
I second this.

Geez, nice. You learn fast. I'm *okay*. I could probably do like the top one, after >9000 hours of work.

Please don't quote big images like that.

Reading this will give you an overview of project #2 (third picture): The original game, then what's a faction, then other factions, then the project itself. Screenshots.

Project #1 (second picture): Inside the same community, there were some which accepted the challenge of making a land-based version of it (the game is originally set in space). Eventually I enrolled in the challenge aswell. See Quantus under the Misc. Development forum. Some storyline. Finally, an old screenshot of the now-inexistent site. I did the GUI, the posts are by the main coder (the second one to take that role). The project eventually died, from lack of staff, commitment and people leaving without reason or warning. There was hardly any coding done, too many models and graphics done, and the choice of a commercial engine did not help either.

It's all very old for me. It's quite entertaining to read some of the storylines again.

Also, thanks for those who expressed their appraisal of my work.
