While I do agree that it is true (although I know that the creators of the show are aware of the Brony Fandom), it still feels insulting when people feel the need to point it out, no matter how small you make the text size.

Well, it is a girl's show, it's just so good that anybody can watch it and LOVE IT!!!

Well, that's their problem. I agree doesn't need to be brought up at all, but again if they this urge to say it just to say it, then let them. Doesn't justify it in any way, but I digress. As long as it isn't the gender stereotype bullshit, then I'm fine with it.
