As you already know, SCP-173 is NOT supposed to move when you are looking at it. So, keeping one eye open while facing towards it is STILL considered looking at it. We're NOT supposed to see how it moves from point A to point B, nor how it snaps your head in half.

If he was in the corner of your right eye and you blinked it but kept the other open, he would move to exactly right before the vision in your open eye starts. Similar to the HUD map in Deus Ex, you can move anywhere except the "cone" areas which is the guards' or camera view. Moving inside the cone means they can now spot you.

Closing one eye makes the "cone" smaller, yes, but it doesn't make it totally disappear.

Agree?

I don't know why people are even debating this, the wiki makes it so obvious, if a human isn't watching it through some means, it stays still. Blinking one eye at a time would work but your body is programmed to do it two eyes at once, so after a few minutes the urge to blink would get unbearable.

Or for a few milliseconds both eyes could be closed which would be enough for 173 to move, this could only happen if you winking very rapidly, not slowly. I still dont understand why people argue with the wiki, it states it so its true. It may not make sense, but its true.

Just so everyone knows. I've found that with recent foundation resaerch that SCP-173 doesn't actually snap the neck. It moves up to it's victim and then a type of "telepathic" force(it's unclear what kind) rips the victims eyelids open such that it kills them. A note...I read that on the official SCP-Foundation Wiki. Look it up.

What kind of Foundation Wiki have you been reading? I don't think there's a single SCP object that kills people in such a bizarre way, let alone 173.
