Its a crude world around these forums. So much hate, trolls, and drama. I know because I've walked in your shoes and I've experienced what you have. It is about the same on every kind of forum, basically not just the SCP:CB fourms. I mean Unity, MLP, SomethingAwful, and 4chan. Our minds are driven by computers. Machines are taking over our behavior... and causing us to war out. In my day, the internet was a happy place. Just like America, we had jobs, problems, and that certain person that you're convinced is a total prick. And it all changed in 2004 when rage memes were being introduced. It has quickly transformed the shape of our lives and building an indestructible wall between us and our life goals. Flame wars have broke out, lives have been ruined, hate is being spread. I experience it everyday because I watch over the internet civilization since 2006. I introduced my presence in 2007 with my first YouTube account known as chandlerlegos. I closed that account and switched to CLstream. Heh, you could have had your own unique experience of the internet that led you to where you are now.

The problem is, we choose to be commanded by other people we don't entirely know enough to be "friends". At least one of your friends is guaranteed to be a hater or a troll. And the main reason is because we choose not to prove that we have our own rights. We have freedom. Right? We can take advantage of our freedom and stand up for ourselves. Are you going to let forum trolls push you around? Are you going to let the haters pull you down? Are you going to let yourself fall for the simple act of a single troll?

This is to show that we have the right to stand up for ourselves and not be pushed around. I know this thread could be locked soon, but please give this message a chance. Admins are trollable too. The internet is almost the equivalent of America in freedom level. If you just stand up for yourself, a difference can be made.

Honestly the only way the "haters" and "trolls" can win is if they get to you, simply ignore them and do not give them the satisfaction they want and they will eventually go away, hopefully.

Also to preempt any debate, I don't want any arguments on America and the "freedom" it does or does not offer. This is not a political discussion.

Freedom is more of a democratic ideal held by most if not all Western Nations, not just the United States.

people have a right to have opinions, and to be offended by whatever irks them, just like how people have a right to feel any other emotion
being offended does not make you special; it does not give you special powers, it does not allow you to be protected from second hand insults and inflamed sensitivities
no one has the right to not be offended; people can't claim they have a right to not be offended when freedom of speech is prevalent
nobody will ever be granted special rights simply because they are offended
people shouldn't purposely try to offend others
no one should make a mountain out of a molehill, etc

What is that even supposed to mean? I don't know if it is saying " Don't attack others" or " F*ck your honor, just ignore them"
