I wouldn't call it terrible, per se. I could easily guess that it's Princess Celestia, which is a plus point. I think you just got the mane a little wrong, primarily.

Drew this as venting art like 4 weeks ago. Cooper. Too lazy to draw anything besides a headshot.

Welp, these are some drawings from different love craft stories, "The Silver Key" and "Pickman's Model". Sorry the pages are so messed up. These are close to two years old and were in my closet:
