As you all know, we have quite a lot of moderators (currently seven) and I think we could use another administrator.

I did make a thread like this in the past but considering the new moderators we have I think another administrator could come in use. I do know that being an administrator isn't THAT different of being a moderator, but come on. I think someone deserves the title.

If you think about it another administrator could come in use, which is why I'm bringing up the idea. I have my vote for Omniary.

I think before this thread is dealt with, if it is, Regalis should give his opinion. Last thread didn't get any opinion from Regalis so I think this one needs it.

First I should state that the moderator list will very likely be going down to five very soon.

On topic to the admin issue. While I will respect any decision that Regalis makes, however I personally still cannot see a reason to promote someone to the role of Admin, as both you have stated and I have stressed multiple times prior, the role of an Admin is mostly in the title, with the occasional need for some advance powers for mostly non-moderating issues. Of course I can understand there being a sense of prestige and rank with the title of an Administrator, I should know. Again I should stress that originally we only needed an Admin because the moderator powers on the old forums were very limiting, and Regalis was not always available to preform some vital moderation tasks, however this newer forum alleviated that problem significantly.

I don't want people thinking that I am totally against a new Admin, I am happy to have a co admin and I don't have an ego to deny someone that rank. I just don't feel that a new admin is needed unless this forum skyrockets in popularity.

Well, let's just wait until Regalis provides his opinion. It won't hurt to have a new admin and it could be useful. By the way, could you please sticky this?

Excuse me SFK, but the multiple Skype chats we've had make me think you're doing this to have chances as an admin.

Although you're not the only one to have that assumption. Besides, I'm not even a friggin mod.

SFK, you have tried to do this many times before. And we know why you do so. You are well aware that having another admin will change nothing (since steelpoint is almost always online) but you just want to have a chance at being mod. You have done it in the older forums, you are doing it again here.

It would be of our concern. But yeah, our poster base is around 20-30 people right now, unless that skyrockets to around 100 or something I think our current staff is good enough for the job at hand. Perhaps when the game is done and we go on a quest to advertise the game everywhere.

Its not because you are suggesting it. It is because you are doing so fully KNOWING there is no need for more admins. You did it in the old forums when there were few people, and you are doing it now, when there is still few people.
Also, it IS my concern, since I am part of this forum and I would stop visiting this forum if YOU became a mod.

I never claimed to want to become a mod and it isn't part of my intentions either, now shut the fuck up and provide your opinion on the damn suggestion.
